Farfetch Price Tracker

Farfetch is an online marketplace for luxury fashion that connects boutiques and brands from around the world. The same piece is often offered by several boutiques at different prices. SaleAlarm tracks your Farfetch item and emails you when the price drops.

What you should know about Farfetch

Farfetch was founded in London in 2007 by the Portuguese entrepreneur José Neves and launched in 2008 as a marketplace that lets independent boutiques sell online to customers around the world. Today it lists pieces from more than 1,400 brands, boutiques and department stores. After running into serious financial trouble, Farfetch was taken over by the e-commerce company Coupang in a deal completed in January 2024, which also ended its listing on the New York Stock Exchange. US and UK shoppers each have their own country version of the site.

Each boutique and brand on Farfetch sets its own prices, so markdowns don't happen all at once: alongside the big end-of-season sales, the price of an individual listing can change whenever a partner adjusts it. Farfetch's loyalty programme, Access, places members in one of five tiers – Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Private Client – based on what they spend in a membership year, with more rewards the higher the tier. Free shipping is one of the benefits from Silver upwards.

A price drop on Farfetch often affects a single listing, and the boutique holding your size may have just one piece. Putting an item in your bag doesn't reserve it, so checking pages by hand easily means missing the moment. SaleAlarm checks the product page you saved regularly and emails you when the price falls. When the message arrives, check your size and the final total straight away and decide while the piece is still available.

    Saving tips for Farfetch

    • On Farfetch, prices for the same item can differ from boutique to boutique and include different shipping and duties. Compare the final price before ordering.

    • If you're in the Silver Access tier or higher, switch on free shipping in the Access dashboard under My Account before you check out – Farfetch's FAQ says it has to be activated there. On a modest markdown, the delivery charge you save makes a real difference.

    • An order confirmation email isn't the final word: Farfetch still has to approve the payment, and the brand or boutique has to confirm the stock. For a reduced piece, order soon after the alert instead of leaving it in your bag, and if the order is cancelled for lack of stock, simply keep the alarm running on the product page.
