Philips was founded in Eindhoven in 1891 by Gerard Philips and his father Frederik to make light bulbs; today the Amsterdam-based group focuses on health technology. Its consumer side is Personal Health: Sonicare toothbrushes, shavers, OneBlade, Lumea and Philips Avent baby products. In the US, shavers still carry the Norelco name, a legacy of the decades when Philips couldn't use its own name there. usa.philips.com sells these products directly for delivery in the contiguous United States, and philips.co.uk runs its own shop for the UK.

Airfryers, coffee machines and other kitchen and home appliances no longer come from Philips itself: the Domestic Appliances business was sold in 2021 and renamed Versuni in 2023, and it uses the Philips brand under licence. On usa.philips.com those categories link to a separate Versuni store, us.home-appliances.philips, with its own prices and deals; the UK site has the same split. In the Philips shop itself, look at the Sonicare and mother-and-child deals pages and the refurbished section, which resells returned personal care products after testing and cleaning.

A price alert is useful here because Philips sells the same toothbrush or shaver in many versions – different colours, travel cases, numbers of brush heads – and in bundles, each with its own page and price. Track the exact model number you want in the Philips shop and, if you like, the same model at a retailer, because both set their prices independently. For an Airfryer or coffee machine, put the alert on the Versuni store page, since that is where the brand's own price changes.
