Bose Price Tracker

Bose is known for noise-cancelling headphones, Bluetooth speakers and soundbars. Prices are fairly stable but drop noticeably during promotions and around Black Friday. SaleAlarm tracks your Bose product and emails you when it gets cheaper.

What you should know about Bose

Bose was founded in 1964 by MIT professor Amar Bose and is privately held, based in Framingham, Massachusetts; since 2011 MIT has been its majority owner through non-voting shares Amar Bose donated. In 2020 Bose closed its retail stores across North America, Europe, Japan and Australia. In the US and UK it now sells direct online at bose.com and bose.co.uk, and through retailers such as Best Buy and Amazon in the US, or John Lewis, Currys and Argos in the UK.

Both stores group current promotions in a Sale or Offers section and sell Certified Refurbished products that Bose restores and tests itself rather than leaving it to a third-party refurbisher; in the US they carry the same one-year warranty as new products. Joining the free My Bose programme brings a welcome offer by email for your first purchase, and in the US a yearly birthday gift. Bose also runs a Trade-In programme in both countries: send in an eligible old product and get credit towards selected new ones.

Bose often sells the same headphones in several colours, including limited editions, and older generations stay on sale next to the latest model – each with its own price. Set your alert on the exact version you want. Refurbished stock is sold while supplies last, so if you'd also consider a refurbished unit, track that listing separately: the email then tells you straight away which of the two offers has dropped.

    When does Bose have sales?

These are the most important sale periods for Bose. Set your alarm a few weeks before – then you know the normal price and can recognise a real discount.

    Saving tips for Bose

    • Bose headphones are sold by many retailers, and reductions often appear there first. Track the same model in several shops.

    • Trade-in orders are final sale: the new product can't be returned, and your old one won't be sent back. Compare the trade-in credit with the current price first – a price drop flagged by your alert might be the better deal.

    • The My Bose welcome offer only arrives if you agree to receive Bose emails when creating your account, and it excludes refurbished products. Sign up before you plan to buy so the coupon is ready when the price drops.
