Wish Price Tracker

Wish is an online marketplace with very low-priced products, many of them shipped directly from sellers in China. Prices for similar items vary a lot and change often, and delivery can take several weeks. SaleAlarm tracks your Wish product and emails you when its price drops.

What you should know about Wish

Wish is an online marketplace that began in San Francisco: ContextLogic, founded in 2010, relaunched its app as Wish in 2011, and in 2024 the business was sold to the Singapore-based e-commerce company Qoo10 for $173 million. Wish doesn't hold stock itself – independent sellers, many of them in China, list and ship the products. Shoppers in the US and the UK use the same wish.com site and app, and orders usually travel from overseas.

Each seller sets its own prices, so near-identical items can cost very different amounts, and shipping is often charged on top. Wish also runs promotions of its own, such as Blitz Buy – short shopping rounds with extra discounts on selected items. In the UK, VAT on parcels worth up to £135 is charged at the point of sale rather than on delivery; wherever you order from, the checkout total is the figure to compare.

A price alert works best on Wish once you've found a listing you trust – a seller with solid reviews and real customer photos. Prices on the same page can differ by size or colour, so when the email arrives, check the price of the variant you actually want. Because delivery can take weeks, set alerts for birthday or Christmas presents early, so a price drop still leaves enough time for the parcel to arrive.

    When does Wish have sales?

These are the most important sale periods for Wish. Set your alarm a few weeks before – then you know the normal price and can recognise a real discount.

    Saving tips for Wish

    • Compare the same product on Wish, AliExpress and Temu before ordering – including shipping costs and expected delivery time.

    • Don't use a Blitz Buy price as your benchmark: the extra discount only applies to selected items for a short round. Tracking the regular listing for a while shows you what the item normally costs.

    • Be careful with safety-critical products such as chargers, toys or children's car seats: a 2020 Which? investigation found illegal and dangerous items on Wish, including a child car seat. For these, wait for a price drop at an established retailer instead.
