What you should know about Temu
Temu was launched in 2022 by PDD Holdings and sells a wide range of goods – from household items and gadgets to clothing – often shipped directly from manufacturers and sellers in China. The very low prices come from this direct model and from promotions, games and vouchers in the app.
Offers and product descriptions vary from seller to seller, and the price of the same item can change several times a week. A price alert helps you to buy at a genuinely low point instead of reacting to countdown timers.
The prices of many Temu items keep moving between a few typical levels. If you track a product for a few weeks, you'll quickly see what a genuinely low price is – however big a displayed discount may look.
